In lieu of the Americans For Prosperity action on the 16th, Occupy Northern Virginia will focus efforts on two larger actions that are happening soon:
- March to DC
- Key Bridge action
The march to DC is a proposed march from the South to compliment Occupy the Highway (those from Occupy Wall Street marching from NYC to DC) to speak out against the Super Committee which is meeting in Washington the day after they arrive.
Proposal is to march from Occupy Richmond to Fredericksburg and then on to arrive in DC by the 22nd of this month (November).

Need help with organizing i.e. stops along the way, accomodations (religious orgs?), other groups that might join the march we can reach out to, transporting supplies and food, etc.
Needs: Bloggers, tweeters, Facebookers - flyers, contacts, etc. etc.
We need people power!
Occupy DC will be supporting a general strike action on the 17th (this Thursday) at the Key Bridge and we are working on a plan to march to and meet them at the bridge.
